Here in the United States, a solar eclipse is going across parts of the country & other parts of North America on Monday, April 8. If you are reading my blog you likely are metaphysically inclined, so you may have heard much about it from an astrological point of view. Many astrologers say the impact is huge and affects everyone, not just those in the path of it. Others feel it is not that meaningful on an astrological level. I am NOT an astrologer, so what I have gleaned may be similar to what many of you have. Whether the eclipse itself (& the possible before and after reverberations for weeks or months) is potent, it is a time of many strong cosmological energies. We would be wise to be aware of tendencies towards feeling strong reactions to situations during this month, impatience (the opposite of what we need during this slow-down-and-be-careful-and-inward Mercury Retrograde), a possible increased need to tend to our emotional balance & nervous systems, and awareness of how our inner wounds affect outward situations.
I don’t tend to be guided to use my psychic gifts at ALL about world events. My forte is with individuals, couples, & small groups; probing inner depths and helping with personal evolution where I am able. However in this one instance I do have a small feeling of potential disruption to the U.S. election process with one of both of the presidential candidates becoming unable to run due to possible health problems. I sense a woman coming into prominence as a result of this, likely to take the presidency. Like I say–NOT my forte, so take this with many grains of salt. However I just want to put it out that the upcoming months may be, if not that particular outcome, a time to “expect the unexpected” for personal and/or planetary events.
Mostly I want to impress upon you, reader, that every moment is our opportunity to evolve and learn why we are here, what we have to give to others and the earth, and how to love more deeply. So whatever might throw your expectations for a loop…find those things that help you to remember these Truths, whether it’s meditation, laughter, exercise, creativity, loved ones, or any of the many other good things that help you to feel good and live authentically. No matter your circumstances–and I say this with compassion and awareness of so many types of suffering going on. I know from experience this is not always easy nor even possible. But this is a good time to consider how your own “light” gets eclipsed and how that effects you. Many say that a solar eclipse is a time for new beginnings, so even if yours come via disruption to your status quo, try your best to welcome the energy of potential which it carries.
I want to reiterate that I am not astrologically very literate at all. I am just throwing a few simple thoughts out there for this time. I do like this more useful take on eclipses so will link it here:

I also would like to encourage you to check out Prune Harris (that’s her–>) on YouTube for VERY simple good processes that take only a few minutes should you be interested in a way to regulate your nervous system if things feel intense.
Take good care of yourself!
